Siemens has stated that due to persistent global challenges including inflation, labor market shortages, supply chain pressures, and rising costs for electronic components, raw materials, and energy, this price adjustment is necessary. The purpose is to ensure continued investment in innovation, digital transformation, and sustainability, thereby safeguarding the long-term interests of its customers.

2. Overview of Adjustment Ranges for Major Product Lines

According to the official notification, the price adjustment will vary across product lines, as summarized below:

Most Standard Products: Will see a moderate price increase ranging from 2% to 2.5%.

Software Products: Will see an increase between 2% and 5%.

Specific Hardware Products: Some product families will see higher adjustments. Notably, the S7-1200 Generation 1 product range, Non-Unified Basic Panels, and Comfort Panels will see a 7% price increase.

Products Being Phased Out: For products already in the discontinuation phase, price adjustments may be more significant, with increases for some families potentially reaching 10% to 30%.
