Product Description
This original Siemens 1XP8024-21 is an absolute multiturn rotary encoder for precise angular position and speed feedback on servo motors and drives. It reports absolute position directly over the SSI interface (Gray code), so the drive knows its exact position immediately after switch-on without a reference run. With 8192 steps per revolution, 4096 revolutions of multiturn range, a wide 10–30 V DC supply and short-circuit-proof HTL incremental outputs, it is a proven feedback component for Siemens drive systems. Per Siemens documentation, this unit is identical to the HEIDENHAIN EQN 425 2048 03S17-E0 (ID 1065029-11).
